Caldwell Fire Station Public Tour — October 21, 2026

The public is invited to tour Caldwell’s current fire station. Our Fire Chief and several volunteers will be on site to answer questions, discuss the station’s current conditions and needs, and share the proposed expansion plans.

Community feedback has identified fire station improvements and street improvements as two major priorities for potential funding if voters approve the proposed 1% sales tax on November 3, 2026.

The proposed tax would remain in effect for 10 years before sunsetting, meaning it would end. Based on current cost estimates and revenue projections, the additional tax proceeds could fund only one of these two major projects during that period.

The tour offers residents an opportunity to see the current station, review the expansion plans, and ask questions as they consider the proposal.
