City Wide Clean Up Day

Gather up all that junk and bring it down to the Spring CleanUP day! Mattresses, patio furniture, microwaves, recliners, and couches, most anything you've set out that the trashman hasn't taken...we'll take it!

Just to be safe, here's a list of the things we can't take - car batteries, oil filters, fluorescent light bulbs, propane tanks, any asbestos materials, explosives, paint (we will take empty & dried up paint cans), no hazardous liquids or their containers (such as fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, solvents, diesel fuel, gas, oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, etc…), tires. Absolutely no tires can be accepted at the City site, York's, or the COOP.

York's Garage will graciously continue to accept any SCRAP METAL you might have. They have a dumpster at the shop, 502 N Chisholm, that you can place your items in. They ask that all items be placed in the labeled scrap metal dumpster and not outside of it or leaning up against it.

Let us know beforehand if you have REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS, or AIR CONDITIONERS to dispose of because they must be tagged by a technician and must have the appropriate paperwork with them in order for it to be disposed of. Just give us a call and we'll get it arranged for you!

Please note that we cannot allow early dumping and once the dumpsters are full, we cannot accept additional waste - which means no dumping outside of the dumpsters. Because of past violators, both sites (York's Garage & City Shop) will be video monitored and violators will be prosecuted.
